Ayurvedic Chef


Heena Chokshi has studied a teachers training course with ART OF LIVING foundation in Banglore.  She organises the cooking courses for the foundation and assists in the delivery of the courses. She teaches about the prakriti and dincharya and demonstrates seasonal sattvik recepies. She is keenly interested in cooking, and works to convert various indian and contentinental dishes in a sattvik way. She has worked in the production house of a cake shop and have tried many things usin organic ghee instead of margarine or butter.

She is very much interested in promoting organic items and has worked on a project to collect 210 species (!) of indigenous rice (Makes our 16 varieties look very humble!) .  This seed-bank is 160 kms away from Mumbai in JAWHAR taluka of Thane District.
