Kalyani and volunteers at the lake Jan 2013

Daily schedule for volunteers and interns:

9am: Start of morning work Period

1:30pm: Lunch and rest period

3:pm: Afternoon work period

5:30pm: End of work day, dinner and relaxation according to you.

One day a week, Usually sundays, we all take the day off. During these moments off we recommend you visit local temples and meditate, explore local villages, go for forest mountain walks and try a hot spring bath!  Mumbai is approx. 3 hours by public transport should you wish to remind yourself of the ‘other’ world!

Seeing as we employ locals from the tribal village to work on our farm, we often have little work for volunteering stays under a month. For those who are interested in staying for less than the volunteer duration but would still like to contribute, please contact us and we will be happy to consider your requests depending on what work or projects we have available.
1. Volunteering:  (1  month +) includes WWOOF network volunteers; required contribution of volunteer work min. 4 hours per day, 6 days per week. Contribute to your upkeep.  Special events and trips are optional extras.

2. Internships: (3 months +) terms of work and contribution can be worked out according to your circumstances and our needs.
***All our volunteers undergo a probation period to ensure a safe, pleasant and productive atmosphere.
